(Courtesy of the Macko Family/special to cleveland.com ) comments PARMA, Ohio - And the winners are! The Young Professionals of Parma held a 2016 Holiday Lighting Contest to see who could decorate their home in the best manner. The first place winner is Scott Macko, who lives at 5292 W. 50th Street. His winter wonderland display was a head-turner from Thanksgiving through the end of the year. Second place went to Joe Kovach, who lives at 3910 Redfern Road. There was a lot of work put into his Christmas display, and the neighborhood always enjoys seeing what Joe comes up with each year. Third place winner is Brian Kwiatkowski, who lives at 7755 Hoertz Road. The front lawn of Brian's home became a holiday light display for everyone to enjoy. The Young Professionals of Parma plan on making the Holiday Lighting Contest an annual event, and with so many residents taking part in this year's contest, it stands to reason that next year's displays will be that much better.
